Left Cantwell early and started out the Denali Highway, hoping to see wildlife. The weather is still not great -- cloudy, misty, no mountain views. The road was paved for a little way, then changed to very rough, pot-holed gravel. We traveled about 25 miles at about 15 mph, then turned around, since we needed to get to Anchorage by late afternoon to meet Donny's friend Steve.
We did get a few photos:
One: Wilson's Warbler
Two: Willow ptarmigan
Three: Very tiny white dots in center of photo are Tundra Swans -- too far away.
Four: Reflection in small lake
Five: Misty mountains
