Today we traveled from Grande Cache to Hinton. It was partly sunny and quite warm. The scenery was gorgeous and we took out time. The flowers were beautiful, especially the paintbrush and the larkspur.
Found some new flowers and saw lots of butterflies, possibly some new ones. I haven't had time to ID them, yet.
After we leave Hinton on Tuesday morning, we will be going to Jasper, Banff and Lake Louise. We got a taste of that area on August 9 when Blair took us down there to see elk. The mountains are just spectacular. It is easy to see why this area is considered one of the most beautiful in the world. Hope the day is nice.
