Some pix from 2007 trip

In 2007, I took a two-week cruise and overland trip to Alaska with my son, daughter-in-law and grand-daughter. Here are a few pictures from the 1000s that I took. The scenery and wildlife are beyond description. Can you see why I want to go back? Donny didn't get to go on that trip, so this will be his first visit.

Our Home Away From Home

Here is our little 24' motor home. It's kind of old, but has really low mileage and is in excellent shape. We have lots of spare parts, and Donny will be bringing his tools along if we need to make any emergency repairs.

We just took it out for a trial run last Saturday and fried our TV when we started the generator! :( Donny found a mouse nest in the generator, which somehow caused it to output 170 volts to the outlet instead of 120! Great start, right?
